In the morning of March 27, the The Third Anhui University Student Painting Competition, 100 People and 100 Works Exhibition was opened in the Runshi Art Museum of our school, which was jointly sponsored by the Fine Arts Professional Cooperation Committee of Anhui general Undergraduate universities and the Anhui Provincial Management Office of Painting and Calligraphy Grade Examination (CCPT) and undertaken by the Academic Affairs Office of Anhui University of Finance and Economics (School of Entrepreneurship) and School of Art. Zhou Jialai, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, Liao Xinlin, Deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office (in charge), Luo Yaodong, Dean of School of Fine Arts of Anhui University, Wei Liang, Dean of School of Fine Arts of Fuyang Normal University, Pan Yong, Dean of Department of Fine Arts of School of Fine Arts of Huaibei Normal University, Hu Fei, Dean of School of Art Design of Bengbu University, Mr. Li Jiyong, dean of Bengbu Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Wang Lei, vice President of the School of Art and Design of Bengbu University, Li Sibao, vice chairman of Bengbu Artists Association, Party and government leaders of the school of Art, representatives of teachers and students attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Liu Xiaoguang, Party secretary of the Academy of Arts.
In this competition, a total of 837 works from 18 universities in the province were entered, and 11 first prizes, 20 second prizes, 31 third prizes, and 40 awards of excellence were selected. The exhibited works include Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, watercolor, color powder, lacquer painting, sketch and other kinds of paintings. Among them, our school won 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 12 third prizes, and 9 awards of excellence.
