On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the University, in order to fully show the spirited spirit of Ancai people and encourage teachers and students to meet the victory of the 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements, our university held the exhibition of calligraphy and painting exhibition titled Welcome the 20th CPC National Congress and Walk a New Journey with the Party Forever in Runshi Art Museum on the morning of May 16th. Yang Ye, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the University, attended the calligraphy and painting exhibition and presented the certificate of honor to the winning student representatives. Heads of relevant functional departments, Party and government leaders of the Art School and representatives of teachers and students attended the exhibition together.

    During the visit, Yang Ye had a cordial exchange with the author to understand the creation idea, creation inspiration and expression theme of the works. He pointed out that culture is the blood of a nation and the spiritual home of the people. As an important part of art, calligraphy and painting contain the essence of Chinese culture with their long history and extensive and profound connotation. They can not only condense the heart and gather strength, cultivate good sentiments, but also purify the mind and improve the quality. Relevant departments of the school should continue to strengthen the construction of campus culture, pay attention to the humanistic quality education of students, and improve the comprehensive quality of students in an all-round way.

      The works exhibited in this exhibition are the entries of the calligraphy and Painting Competition with the theme of Welcome the Twenty National Congress to forge ahead with the Party Forever jointly held by the Youth League Committee of the University and the College of Art. The 189 calligraphy and painting works included Chinese painting, calligraphy, watercolor, oil painting and other categories. The works are ideological, artistic and ornamental. The contents focus on the magnificent glorious history of the Communist Party of China in the past century and the great achievements of the development of the Party and the country in the new era, and express the praise of the mountains and rivers of the motherland and the spirit of fighting the epidemic.
