At the beginning of the activity, Teacher Zheng first introduced the history of hoary mountain seal cutting to the members: Hoary mountain seal cutting is the representative technique of the fourth development height of Hui school seal cutting, which got its name because the founder Huang Shiling was from Yixian County, Anhui Province. The mountain seal cutting art style is unique, which is based on the combination of the Qin seal, Han seal, Zhong Dingwen, Quan yuan, tablet forehead and other characters, absorbing and forming a body of their own. In the preparation stage, the members showed how to select stones, seal specifications, seal polishing, how to look at reference books, and how to write seal characters. The members watched carefully and copied with brush. Then Teacher Zheng introduced the two basic techniques of white and Zhu, and demonstrated and copied the Yin character as an example.

At the end of the activity, Mr. Zheng modified the name print designed by himself for the members, so that each student successfully carved a special seal for himself. Everyone expressed: This activity made us have the opportunity to understand the charm of hoary mountain seal cutting art and experience the hardship and fun of the artistic creation process.
