In order to inherit traditional culture and improve the artistic accomplishment of teachers and students, Professor Wei Guobin, executive director of Anhui Provincial Administration Office of Calligraphy and Painting Grade Examination of Ministry of Education and dean of Art College of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, was invited by Bengbu Institute of Business and Industry Humanities and Art School to give a lecture on Calligraphy and Life. The lecture was successfully held in Gewu Building B101 on the afternoon of March 30. Shan Xueyong, Vice President of Bengbu Institute of Business and Industry, Zhang Zhenmei, dean of College of Humanities and Arts, and Ruan Jinbing, deputy secretary of the General Branch of the Communist Party of China, attended the lecture.
Calligraphy is a unique art form in China. The cultivation of calligraphy hobby is helpful to cultivate one's character. Wei Guobin used his real life experience to introduce the influence of calligraphy on his life. Under the influence of calligraphy, Wei Guobin constantly cultivated his knowledge, artistic cultivation, aesthetic realm and even life realm in the hard years, and realized a major breakthrough in life.
In combination with his calligraphy hobby, Wei Guobin deeply expressed his understanding of life: a person's life is actually a process of constantly striving and enriching the soul.
